Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at North Oaks Medical Center. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing radiographic procedures in accordance with established professional and departmental standards and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform radiographic procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans
  • Position patients for optimal imaging results
  • Administer contrast media as needed
  • Obtain patient history and clinical data for correlation with scans
  • Maintain necessary inventory of supplies for assigned room
  • Ensure all equipment is in good working condition
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology
  • Licensed by the Louisiana State Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners (LSRTBE)
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
  • One year of experience in radiologic technology, preferably in a hospital or diagnostic imaging center setting
Working Conditions:

This position requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting of patients. The ability to respond to and withstand frequent crisis situations is also required.
