- Set performance metrics for team members and work with them to ensure all metrics are met, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Properly resolve problems and troubleshoot issues as they arise, exercising sound judgment and decision-making skills.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment that meets company, state, and federal regulations, ensuring compliance and minimizing risks.
- Examine staff performance, provide training and development opportunities, and manage employee schedules and time-off requests.
- High School diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, management, and external stakeholders.
- Knowledge of computer software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems.
- Ability to solve problems, make quick decisions, and communicate verbally and in writing.
- Physical demands include lifting up to 35 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- 1+ years of supervisory/leadership experience, with a strong track record of success.
- Associates degree or higher, with a focus on business, management, or a related field.
- Experience working in a Union environment, with a strong understanding of collective bargaining agreements and labor laws.
BAE Systems offers a competitive salary range of $109,530, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan, disability coverage, and life and accident insurance. Regular employees scheduled to work 20+ hours per week are eligible for these benefits.
