Responsibilities:
  • Assign tasks to team members and ensure timely completion of shift objectives
  • Set performance metrics for team members and work with them to meet or exceed targets
  • Resolve problems and troubleshoot issues independently, without management direction
  • Maintain a safe and compliant work environment, adhering to company, state, and federal regulations
  • Monitor staff performance and provide training where necessary to improve skills and productivity
  • Manage employee schedules and time-off requests, ensuring adequate staffing levels
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to solve problems and make quick decisions
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of supervisory or leadership experience
  • Associate's degree
  • Experience working in a union environment
Compensation:

Full-time salary range: $109,530

Please note that individual salaries are determined by various factors, including business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications.
