Job Title: Licensed Therapist - LCSW or LMHC

Suncoast Behavioral Health Center is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Therapist - LCSW or LMHC to join our Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) team. As a key member of our treatment team, you will provide psychiatric services to patients with chronic mental health issues, including adolescents with a general psychiatric disorder or a dual diagnosis of mental illness.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments, group therapy, family therapy, treatment planning, discharge planning, and coordination with referral sources.
  • Prepare Psychosocial Assessments for each patient, ensuring all necessary information is included and shared with the treatment team.
  • Oversee case management and discharge planning components of the patient's Master Treatment Plan and MTP reviews, documenting discussions with the patient and family as appropriate.
  • Complete group, individual, and family therapy components as needed for IOP.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with departmental and hospital standards.
  • Develop aftercare plans with patients, assessing needs and arranging community agency support as necessary.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and adhere to program processes, rules, and schedules.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in social work, mental health counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as an LCSW or LMHC in the State of Florida.
  • One year of direct clinical experience in family, individual, and group therapy with children and adolescents.
  • Knowledge of human development across the lifespan and experience with specialized treatment modalities, such as abuse reactive, sexual offending, substance abuse, and relaxation therapy.
