Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions to promote cognitive, social, physical, and emotional development.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient, in collaboration with the treatment team.
  • Provide ongoing assessment and evaluation of patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
  • Act as a liaison between patients, families, and treatment team members, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Collaborate with outside agencies and individuals to develop and coordinate discharge planning, ensuring a smooth transition for patients and families.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in social work, mental health counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure in the State of Florida, such as LCSW, LMFT, LMHC, LMFTI, or LMHCI.
  • At least one year of direct clinical experience in family, individual, and group therapy with children and adolescents.
  • Knowledge of human development across the lifespan and experience with specialized treatment modalities, such as abuse reactive, sexual offending, substance abuse, and trauma.
