Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement patient services and nursing practice standards and guidelines across the organization to ensure the safe provision of quality patient care.
- Utilize metrics and organization vision to lead and direct strategic nursing and patient care practice and standards, patient safety, clinical outcomes, and patient, employee, and physician satisfaction.
- Develop and manage the operating and capital budgets for patient services operations, analyze variances, develop plans, and take appropriate actions for productivity and performance improvements.
- Assume fiscal responsibility through budgetary planning and implementation.
- Participate in ongoing continuous quality improvement education and training.
- Monitor nursing practice, clinical outcomes, and process improvement initiatives to achieve value-based outcome metrics.
- Regularly inform and update staff on organizational and industry issues.
- Work to continuously improve patient services while enhancing service to patients and optimizing relationships with business partners.
- Partner across the organization to support smooth transition of care for patients across care settings to ensure optimal setting of care to address patient needs.
- Master's degree
- Eight years of nursing experience, with four years in a leadership role
- Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by a compact state or the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services
