Nursing Leadership Director

At UW Health, we are seeking a skilled Nursing Leadership Director to lead the day-to-day clinical operations and coordination of patient care services. This is a full-time, 100% FTE position, with hours mainly during normal business hours, but requiring presence at times during off shifts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing leadership, with at least three years of relevant clinical experience and progressive leadership experience. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is the minimum educational requirement, with a Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration being preferred. Certification in a relevant specialty is also highly valued. As a Director of Patient Care Operations, you will be responsible for directing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care programs, as well as preparing and administering revenue and operating budgets. You will also have the opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and achieve operational excellence. UW Health offers a competitive salary, with an estimated annual salary range of $83,000 to $123,000, depending on experience. You will also have the opportunity to work in a Magnet-designated facility, considered one of the nation's leading hospitals, teaching institutions, and referral centers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct the planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care programs.
- Lead the day-to-day clinical operations and coordination of patient care services.
- Direct and evaluate the department's workforce, in terms of staff scheduling and performance.
- Prepare and administer revenue and operating budgets.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- At least three years of relevant clinical experience and progressive leadership experience.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher.
- Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration (preferred).
- Certification in a relevant specialty (preferred).
