Job Summary

Courtyard Jacksonville Orange Park is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Guest Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our front desk staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the satisfaction of our clients, guests, and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Welcome and Check-in: Welcome guests upon arrival and assist with the check-in process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Information and Assistance: Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
  • Guest Inquiries and Concerns: Respond to guest inquiries promptly and efficiently, addressing concerns and resolving issues to ensure satisfaction.
  • Reservations and Transactions: Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications with accuracy, and process payments and maintain records of guest transactions.
  • Front Desk Operations: Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, and assist with luggage handling and transportation arrangements.
  • Team Collaboration: Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest requests and ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Guest Safety and Security: Follow company policies and procedures to ensure guest safety, and collaborate with housekeeping to prepare rooms for occupancy.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry developments and participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and provide exceptional service to guests.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Effective communication with guests and team members, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to learn quickly and pay attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of the job.

Physical Demands:

  • This role involves extended periods of walking, standing, bending, and lifting, with accommodations available for eligible employees.
