Job Overview

Adecco Healthcare is seeking a skilled Occupational Health Registered Nurse to join our client's team in the Richmond, IN / Cincinnati, OH area. This is a direct-hire, full-time, and permanent opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the medical status of employees who call in sick on previous days.
  • Follow up on medical notes submitted for short-term or long-term disability claims.
  • Handle calls about injuries and manage them from an occupational health perspective.
  • Address potential OSHA recordable incidents and work to minimize them.
  • Schedule weekly meetings with HR to provide status reports.
  • Attend weekly meetings with the health services team.
  • Field calls from first-line supervisors about injuries, illnesses, and employee status.
  • Provide education and training on health management cases.
  • Field inquiries from physicians, managers, and employees about injuries and how to manage them.
  • Provide medical information to employees.
  • Provide medications to employees in an effort to keep them working before they have to leave.
  • Participate in examinations conducted by local care supervisors.
  • Manage the pre-placement status of individuals.
Requirements
  • Valid RN license (compact).
  • At least 2 years of Occupational Health experience.
  • Willing to travel within Richmond, IN facility and Cincinnati, OH facility (1 hour and 15 minute drive). Mileage Reimbursement offered.
  • Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
  • In the very rare occasion there is an emergency, must be able to come in.
