Occupational Health Nurse

Adecco Healthcare is seeking a skilled Occupational Health Registered Nurse to join our client's team in the Richmond, IN / Cincinnati, OH area. This is a direct-hire, full-time, and permanent opportunity.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the medical status of employees who call in sick on previous days.
- Follow up on medical notes submitted for short-term or long-term disability claims.
- Handle calls about injuries and manage them from an occupational health perspective.
- Address potential OSHA recordable incidents and work to minimize them.
- Schedule weekly meetings with HR to provide status reports.
- Attend weekly meetings with the health services team.
- Field calls from first-line supervisors about injuries, illnesses, and employee status.
- Provide education and training on health management cases.
- Field inquiries from physicians, managers, and employees about injuries and how to manage them.
- Provide medical information to employees.
- Provide medications to employees in an effort to keep them working before they have to leave.
- Participate in examinations conducted by local care supervisors.
- Manage the pre-placement status of individuals.
- Valid RN license (compact).
- At least 2 years of Occupational Health experience.
- Willing to travel within Richmond, IN facility and Cincinnati, OH facility (1 hour and 15 minute drive). Mileage Reimbursement offered.
- Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
- In the very rare occasion there is an emergency, must be able to come in.
- 401(k) plan with a 4% employer contribution, even if the employee doesn't contribute, plus a 100% employer match on the first 4% the employee contributes.
