Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer II to support our manufacturing processes and equipment in Fremont, CA. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining manufacturing process equipment, evaluating new equipment and soldering technologies, and implementing process improvements to drive revenue growth and cost reduction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program, troubleshoot, and maintain manufacturing process equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Evaluate new equipment and soldering technologies to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend solutions.
  • Monitor and maintain Aqueous cleaner and Ionic contamination testing equipment to ensure compliance with customer and IPC requirements.
  • Initiate process improvements through effective evaluations of test and yield data and manufacturing defects.
  • Create, present, and obtain approval for capital investment programs to drive business growth and cost reduction.
  • Work with Production to develop and direct opportunities that affect revenues, costs, and processes.
  • Prepare and submit reports as required to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Provide guidance to machine operators and production employees on process improvements and problem-solving techniques.
  • Interact with other functional and business groups or with outside vendors to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Comply with Environmental Health and Safety regulations and support all corporate and site 6S objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Math.
  • 5 years of experience within the Electronics Industry.
  • Experience with lead-free processes preferred.
  • Pass IPC-DVD-64C Component Identification and IPC-A-610 Modules 1 & 2.
