Optical Subassembly Lead Engineer for High-Speed Transceivers

We are seeking a highly skilled Optical Subassembly Lead Engineer to join our team at II-VI Incorporated. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance optical subassemblies for high-speed transceivers.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop optical subassemblies with high performance and manufacturability.
- Collaborate with the transceiver module engineering group to develop and define the OSA architecture.
- Work closely with optical, mechanical, RF design, process, and test engineers to develop and define specifications for subcomponents.
- Specify development and production test requirements and perform hands-on testing to understand performance and reliability corners.
- Coordinate with program management and various divisions within the company to ensure program schedule adherence.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Optics, or equivalent.
- Or MS degree with 3+ years of work experience in a related field.
- Excellent knowledge of optical, thermal, and RF simulation skills.
- Good understanding of Silicon photonics devices and experience in their application in transceivers.
- Good team player with excellent communication skills.
- Travel to Asia may be required.
- At least 3 days/week on-site.
