EnVision Staffing Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Senior Property Accountant to join our team in Miami. As a key member of our property accounting team, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing general ledger accounts, preparing journal entries, and maintaining supporting schedules for balance sheet accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze general ledger accounts for our diverse portfolio of commercial properties.
- Prepare and record journal entries related to commercial property revenues, tenant billings, banking activities, monthly accruals, and more.
- Prepare bank reconciliations and maintain supporting schedules for balance sheet accounts, such as inter-company balances, commercial accounts receivable, prepaid rent, accounts payable, loans payable, and accrued property expenses.
- Prepare reconciliations for balance sheet accounts specific to our Miami commercial property portfolio.
- Calculate cash available for distribution or manage cash shortfalls.
- Track required payments (e.g., taxes, insurance, debt service) and ensure timely payments for all commercial property expenses.
- Manage aspects of accounts payable, such as entering invoices and preparing payments.
- Compile monthly financial reporting packages.
- Assist in preparing supporting materials for audits, tax returns, and other financial processes.
- Record property transactions such as purchases, sales, or refinancing of commercial properties.
- Participate in due diligence for new commercial property acquisitions and assist with special projects as needed.
- Engage in process improvement initiatives to support growth, internal controls, and operational excellence.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in commercial property accounting.
