Position Summary:

The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will be tasked with the implementation, management, and maintenance of IT systems, primarily focusing on SaaS solutions. This role also involves developing and managing the infrastructure that supports client endpoints across both Mac and Windows platforms. Additionally, the engineer will assist with helpdesk inquiries to support our workforce.

Our applications are entirely cloud-based, so we seek candidates with experience in cloud IT applications who can provide general help desk and service desk support. Our environment consists of both Windows and Mac systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deploy and oversee critical business applications that align with the company's IT services catalog. Familiarity with Okta workflows, Freshworks, Paylocity, and Google Workspaces is advantageous.
  • Hands-on experience with Mac, Windows, PowerShell, InTune, and Kandji (MDM) is essential.
  • Collaborate with engineering and security teams to align on IT policies.
  • Create and maintain documentation for supported applications, processes, and training materials for internal staff.
  • Work alongside Security, PeopleOps, and Business Operations to establish automated onboarding and offboarding procedures.
  • Develop tools and processes to streamline end-user asset management, provisioning, and tracking.
  • Assist our distributed workforce with daily access requests, helpdesk tickets, and user onboarding/offboarding.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot incoming IT queries from employees, providing support for technical issues related to desktops, laptops, or network services.
  • Ensure all IT-related issues and requests are accurately logged in the ticketing system, with timely resolutions or escalations.
  • Build and nurture cross-functional relationships with internal teams to drive initiatives.
  • Plan and implement systems automation and integrations to enhance efficiency.
  • Assist in the ongoing evaluation and management of major vendor relationships and outsourcing agreements.
  • Develop system-monitoring and support automation to improve and scale the quality of support.

Qualifications:
  • 4-5 years of experience in administering and integrating SaaS applications such as Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Paylocity, Salesforce, and Talkdesk.
  • 4-5 years of hands-on experience in developing automation workflow solutions using SaaS frameworks for repetitive tasks.
  • 5+ years of experience in IT within a high-growth SaaS environment.
  • Experience with MDM solutions for configuring and managing endpoints, including Intune (Windows) and Kandji (Mac).
  • Experience managing helpdesk functions for small to mid-sized organizations.
  • Experience with SaaS integrations and Freshworks, JIRA ITIL Service Desk configuration/implementation.
  • Experience deploying and managing OKTA or similar identity and access management platforms.
  • Proficiency in one of the following scripting languages: bash, PowerShell, or Python.
  • Hands-on experience supporting both Windows and Mac systems.
  • Experience in developing automation workflows and integrations for repetitive tasks.
  • Microsoft certification is a plus.
