Job Title: Cloud EngineerResponsibilities:
  • Proactively identify opportunities for performance improvement in areas such as responsiveness, availability, and scalability.
  • Manage, evolve, and build CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployment and delivery of software applications.
  • Maintain, support, and build out infrastructure and services operating on AWS, GCP, and other cloud providers.
  • Creatively solve technical issues, leveraging expertise and resources to find innovative solutions.
  • Deliver solutions in complex environments, including fixed wireline networking and wireless, distributed systems, and applications.
  • Assist in building world-class, multi-cloud capable, state-of-the-art products by:
  • Automating build processes and incorporating static code quality tools.
  • Helping identify code promotion qualities and incorporating A/B, Canary, Blue/Green deployment patterns.
  • Building highly resilient cloud ecosystems capable of high availability and scalability.
  • Shipping to Azure, AWS, or GCP, using Docker containers, Kubernetes as an orchestrator, or full VMs with base images.
Qualifications:
  • Production experience working as a Software Engineer or DevOps Engineer.
  • Strong expertise in AWS public cloud and Agile environments.
  • Experience with CI/CD and Linux, containerization using Docker and Kubernetes, and scripting and orchestration using Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Datadog, AppDynamics, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus, or equivalent.
  • Experience with embedded or edge compute systems.

Hybrid (Plano, TX)

Salary Range:

The salary for this position is between $100,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on factors such as geography, skill, education, experience, and other qualifications.
