Job Responsibilities:

Summary:

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is tasked with upholding cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the facility, ensuring compliance with health regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize various cleaning techniques to maintain floor cleanliness
  • Adhere to established cleaning schedules
  • Perform cleaning duties in common areas including lobbies and dining spaces
  • Manage inventory of cleaning supplies
  • Report any maintenance needs to the supervisor
  • Follow all safety protocols
  • Participate in training and educational opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Strong focus on customer service
  • Demonstrated professionalism
  • Knowledge of safety practices
  • Familiarity with housekeeping and environmental services equipment

Work Environment:

This role involves physical activities such as lifting up to 40 pounds and working with various cleaning agents.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of experience in a housekeeping role within a healthcare environment
