Help us write the next chapter of Purina s history.Nestl Purina Maintenance is building a team of Utilities Maintenance Technicians who will work together to maintain, troubleshoot, repair and optimize utilities systems within the factory. Day to day, you will work cross-functionally with other maintenance, engineering and production personnel to solve problems and implement solutions quickly and safely to keep factory assets operating efficiently.The first severalmonths of this position will require travel (approximately 50%) for training purposes to other Nestl Purina factory locations.Troubleshoot and optimize utilities systems and related mechanical and electrical equipment and componentsMonitor, maintain and repair compressors, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, wastewater treatment, domestic water, hot water and fire systemsExecute preventative maintenance (PM) activities to proactively prevent failures and promote safe and efficient operationsUtilize diagrams and schematics, digital tools such as computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS), mechanical and electrical tools, and diagnostic instruments (for vibration, thermal imaging, acoustics, etc.) to reduce unplanned stoppages through effective root cause analysis and corrective actionCollaborate with team members to maintain equipment and solve technical problemsPerform basic rigging, mechanical practices, pipefittingand welding skills in an industrial environmentModel safety and share utilities expertise to train other team membersREQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or GED equivalent and2+ years of experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of utilities systems and mechanical equipment in a manufacturing, industrial, military or related environment-OR-Technical degree or certification with 1+ year of relevant industrial and/or utilities maintenance experienceOTHERPrior to factory operational startup, you must be willing to travel up to 50% for training purposes to other Nestl Purina factory locations. There will be little to no travel required once the Williamsburg Township facility is operational.Once the factory starts up, this position will transition to a 2-2-3 schedule format with 12-hour shifts (6 p.m.-6 a.m.)The approximate starting hourly pay for this position is $35.00 an hour for Maintenance Technician C. The pay progression plan follows: Maintenance Technician B $36.00, Maintenance Technician A $39.00. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
