Job Overview

Position: Vehicle Efficiency Engineer for Compliance and Certification

Location: Onsite Role

This engineering role entails primary responsibility for overseeing vehicle efficiency certification processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Establish and manage project timelines with regular progress reports.
  2. Collaborate on requirements for prototype vehicles and component availability.
  3. Facilitate communication regarding vehicle instrumentation necessities.
  4. Work with testing facilities to implement vehicle mileage break-in procedures.
  5. Conduct fuel efficiency assessments, including:
    1. Generating test requests
    2. Analyzing data
    3. Coordinating vehicle modifications, software updates, and troubleshooting as necessary.
    4. Supporting cross-functional meetings as needed
    5. Managing catalyst bench aging processes
  6. Compile and submit testing documentation to regulatory bodies as required.
  7. Assist with any necessary confirmatory testing by regulatory agencies.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline
  2. Experience in fuel efficiency homologation and compliance
