Position: Vehicle Efficiency Engineer for Compliance and Certification
Location: Onsite Role
This engineering role entails primary responsibility for overseeing vehicle efficiency certification processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and manage project timelines with regular progress reports.
- Collaborate on requirements for prototype vehicles and component availability.
- Facilitate communication regarding vehicle instrumentation necessities.
- Work with testing facilities to implement vehicle mileage break-in procedures.
- Conduct fuel efficiency assessments, including:
- Generating test requests
- Analyzing data
- Coordinating vehicle modifications, software updates, and troubleshooting as necessary.
- Supporting cross-functional meetings as needed
- Managing catalyst bench aging processes
- Compile and submit testing documentation to regulatory bodies as required.
- Assist with any necessary confirmatory testing by regulatory agencies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline
- Experience in fuel efficiency homologation and compliance
