About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Registered Nurse to join our team at i4 Search Group Healthcare.

Job Summary

This is a Full-Time Permanent opportunity for a Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Behavioral Health to work nights in Richmond, VA.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients' mental health needs and develop treatment plans.
  • Provide personal care and engage in therapeutic interactions.
  • Administer medications and coordinate with families, doctors, and other healthcare professionals.
  • OBSERVE AND RECORD patient behavior.
  • Perform physical exams and diagnostic tests, collect patient health histories.
  • Maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and their families, educate them about treatment plans.

Requirements

  • A current Registered Nurse (RN) license within the state of practice is required.
  • An Associate Degree in Nursing is necessary, while one year of recent experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred.
  • BLS Certification and De-Escalation Certification are required, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • English is required, with bilingualism being desirable.
