Mental Health Crisis Intervention Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Crisis Stabilization Specialist to provide short-term crisis intervention services to adults in need of immediate support.
Job OverviewThis is an independent contractor opportunity with Delta-T Group Inc., a leading referral service for behavioral healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Provide crisis stabilization services to adults at imminent risk of hospitalization or out-of-home placement.
- Develop therapeutic relationships with clients to encourage response in treatment and foster goal development.
- Link clients to necessary outpatient treatment providers, including counseling, medication management, and group counseling.
- Implement safety plans based on client need to ensure safety in their current environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation and prepare timely case management reports.
- Licensed or registered as a QMHP (Qualified Mental Health Professional) by the Commonwealth of Virginia Board of Health Professions.
- No prior employment with multiple Community-Based agencies.
- Ongoing training in mental illness characteristics, interventions, and support methods.
