Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Health Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for providing clinical health services to associates, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as federal regulations and CDC recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides clinical health services, including pre-employment follow-up, associate immunization program, respiratory protection program, communicable disease screening, and exposure management
  • Maintains current knowledge of associate health regulations, recommendations, and accreditation standards applicable to BSMH facilities
  • Assists managers and staff with compliance and provides input on policy/procedure updates related to associate health services
  • Performs surveillance activities to identify associate health risks and collaborates with Infection Prevention to prevent the spread of communicable disease between patients and staff
  • Participates in direct service delivery, including immunizations, TB screening, color discrimination testing, respirator fit testing, and communicable and blood-borne exposure management
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience
  • Registered Nurse licensure in the state practicing
  • BLS Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and prioritize job duties
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and patients
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
