Administrative Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Administrative Operations Specialist to join our team at Peraton. As an Administrative Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our office, ensuring seamless execution of tasks and projects.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will possess a strong background in administrative support, with experience in managing office functions, coordinating meetings, and maintaining accurate records.
You will work closely with our Facility Security Officer to maintain and improve overall security posture of the facility, while also coordinating with STRAP engineering staff and vendors to maintain active system maintenance subscriptions supporting the AFCENT STRAP program.
Your attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks will be essential in this role, as you will be responsible for preparing material requests and inventory management, tracking assets across geographically separated operating locations, and performing additional duties as assigned by the Site Facility Lead.
Key Responsibilities- Manage office functions, including setting up and maintaining files, screening and controlling access, and escorting visitors
- Coordinate meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements
- Maintain accurate records, including inventory management and equipment tracking
- Collaborate with Facility Security Officer to ensure compliance with security protocols
- Prepare and track material requests, manage inventory, and coordinate with vendors
- Minimum 3 years of related experience
- Current Secret Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and work independently
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage effectively with diverse functional work groups
Experience with shipping/warehousing material and inventory management software
