Information Systems Solutions (ISS) seeks a skilled AV/Infrastructure IS/IT Specialist Level 1 to support the core infrastructure and data center in a Suffolk, VA-based joint training environment. The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting the Deputy Directorate, Joint Training (DDJT), with 100% onsite work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of applications and systems for IT projects, utilizing current technologies and software.
  • Utilize structured system development lifecycle processes for planning, managing, and documenting project activities.
  • Provide general Information Technology consulting and expertise.

The ideal candidate will design, install, configure, and maintain network systems, including associated servers, network communications devices, operating systems, and client hardware and applications.

Certification Requirements:

Secret clearance and one of the following certifications are required: Security+ CE, GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC), Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP), or System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP).

  • A Bachelor's degree and/or five years of AV/Infrastructure experience.
