Position Overview:
This role is essential for upholding quality assurance protocols, conducting product evaluations, and documenting and analyzing results to ensure that Sherwin-Williams products align with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct testing on production batches following established written procedures.
- Identify and report discrepancies in both compliant and non-compliant data.
- Analyze results and historical data to confirm that products meet or exceed customer quality expectations.
- Provide guidance to production staff regarding necessary adjustments to batches.

Additional Information:
- Shift: 2nd Shift 2:00pm-10:30pm
- Eligible for performance-based bonuses as per company policies.

Responsibilities Include:
- Ensuring all tests are completed and results meet specifications before advancing to the next production stage.
- Entering batch data into the electronic records system.
- Generating necessary documentation per customer specifications.
- Collecting and dispatching customer samples as required.
- Utilizing appropriate software systems for effective product testing.
- Determining the status of non-compliant finished goods.
- Holding non-conforming materials as necessary.
- Supporting ISO Management Systems and Safety Systems.
- Maintaining laboratory supply inventory.
- Communicating product issues to relevant departments.
- Creating and updating standard operating procedures to comply with ISO requirements.
- Assisting in the training of fellow lab technicians as needed.

Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status.

Preferred Qualifications:
- At least one (1) year of experience in a quality control laboratory.
- At least one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- An Associate Degree or higher in Chemistry.
