We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Child Care Provider Registration Specialist to join our team at the State of Iowa. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for determining the eligibility of child care providers under various categories, including in-home, non-registered, and registered providers.
Key Responsibilities:- Determine eligibility of child care providers under various categories
- Elicit, verify, and determine initial and renewal applications
- Act on all changes in accordance with Iowa State laws for Child Care Providers
- Issue Registration Certificates to providers and Child Care Assistance Provider Agreement contracts
- Three years of full-time clerical or closely related work experience
- OR equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to establish relationships
- Excellent judgment and communication skills
- Ability to provide good written documentation in a timely manner
- Ability to prioritize and work under pressure
