Academic Faculty Nurse

The Academic Faculty RN position at Covenant Health is a unique and challenging opportunity for a dedicated nursing professional to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our patients and students.
As a key member of our academic team, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in our CSON program, providing discipline-specific knowledge and expertise to support the development of our nursing curriculum.
With a strong focus on academic immersion and operational involvement, this role offers a distinct blend of teaching, research, and service responsibilities that will challenge and engage you.
Responsibilities- Teach and mentor students in our CSON program, providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with our nursing program's goals and objectives.
- Conduct research and scholarly activities that contribute to the advancement of nursing knowledge and practice.
- Participate in program evaluation and accreditation processes to ensure the quality and effectiveness of our nursing program.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement policies and procedures that support the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Master's degree in Nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the appropriate state of employment.
- Experience in nursing education, curriculum development, and program evaluation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
