Academic Faculty RN Position

The Academic Faculty RN position at Covenant Health is a unique and challenging opportunity for a nursing professional to make a meaningful impact in the education and development of future nurses.
As a member of our academic faculty, you will have the primary purpose of teaching for the CSON program(s) and on-site instruction may include teaching in CSON traditional track or the LVN to RN track.
Key Responsibilities- Teach and mentor nursing students in a variety of settings, including classroom and clinical environments.
- Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the program's goals and objectives.
- Provide discipline-specific knowledge and expertise to assist local/regional teams as a consultative resource as needed for special projects, initiatives, or issues.
- Participate in program evaluation and accreditation processes to ensure the highest quality of education.
- Master's degree in Nursing.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the appropriate state of employment or service.
- Preferred qualifications include a doctoral degree in nursing or a related field, national certification for designated program, experience developing curriculum, and documented success teaching in higher education.
