Research Scholar in California Water Resources and Sustainability

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at the University of California-Davis. The successful candidate will work on a research project focused on water management and climate change in California.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development and implementation of a research project on water management and climate change in California.
- Conduct fieldwork, surveys, and interviews to gather data and information.
- Develop and analyze research outputs, including publications, research briefs, data visualizations, and presentations.
- Collaborate with the research team to co-produce research outputs and facilitate co-production processes.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including community members, researchers, and policymakers.
- PhD or other doctoral degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, water resources, or climate change.
- Strong research skills and experience in designing and administering surveys and interviews.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Experience working in collaborative research teams and with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience working on water management and climate change projects.
- Familiarity with California water management issues and challenges.
