Position Overview

The Wolfeboro Children's Center is in search of an Infant Teacher dedicated to providing exceptional care for children aged 6 weeks to 18 months. This is a full-time role, offering up to 40 hours per week along with comprehensive center benefits. The position reports directly to the Infant/Toddler Coordinator and collaborates closely with the Infant and Toddler team. Flexibility in scheduling and strong communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct supervision and attentive care of infants.
  • Collaboration with fellow Infant team members to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare.
  • Understanding and supporting infant development through nurturing practices.
  • Creating a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children.
  • Engaging with families to provide the best possible care and meet their needs.
  • Implementing age-appropriate learning activities and maintaining effective communication with families.
  • Participation in professional development opportunities and staff meetings.
  • Encouragement to engage in community volunteer activities, although not mandatory.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of two years of relevant experience in early childhood education and meet state requirements for an ECE Infant Teacher. An Associate's degree is preferred, along with at least 9 ECE credits.
