About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Semiconductor Product Engineer to join our team at Raytheon Vision Systems (RVS). As a key contributor, you will be responsible for portfolio product management of RVS Production Space Programs, including maturation of manufacturing and technology readiness, semiconductor wafer and Sensor Chip Assemblies (SCA) processing, stakeholder collaboration, and project management experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement advanced SCA technologies utilizing single and dual color HgCdTe/HCT, III/V (InSb, InGaAs, SLS, nBn and others) semiconductors detector technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive key technical decisions regarding design and processing techniques.
  • Work closely with Integrated Product Team Leads/Program Managers to ensure engineering requirements are defined and understood, risks/opportunities are managed, and schedules/budgets are met.
  • Prepare technical justification analysis reports and present to Engineering and Program Review Boards.
  • Lead and drive proposal efforts and work with business development and PMO to advance our customer base.
Requirements
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a STEM degree in a related field and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Or an advanced degree and 5 years of related experience.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a US Government issued clearance is required.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge and understanding of HgCdTe, III/V semiconductor or micro-bolometer (uncooled) detector physics, wafer processing in a cleanroom environment.
  • Ability to understand and analyze data related to semiconductor device performance.
  • Experience with Design of Experiments (DoE) and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
  • Understanding of Process Yields and Analysis.
  • Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) Experience.
  • Familiarity and experience with device design and modeling instruments such as MATLAB.
