Job Summary

Rohm Semiconductor is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Manager to join our Consumer IT Group. This is a key role that will be responsible for developing business plans, product strategies, and roadmaps for assigned customers and/or markets. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the consumer electronics industry and be able to build relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage consumer/data center/storage/GPU accounts and provide premium customer service
  • Drive semiconductor growth in the consumer/data center/storage/GPU segment
  • Achieve design wins at large consumer/data center/storage/GPU clients
  • Identify customers' technical needs and engineering adaptions of products, equipment, and services
  • Manage sales revenue, forecast, and profit margins of strategic consumer/data center/storage/GPU accounts
  • Establish, develop, and maintain close working relationships at new and existing customers
  • Negotiate significant annual and long-term agreements with multinational corporations
  • Prepare and generate sales engineering reports; collect, analyze, and summarize sales data and engineering and application trends
  • Develop account strategies and execute with team members to achieve long-term goals
  • Diagnose client issues and offer creative semiconductor solutions
  • Succinctly present ROHM's analog and power semiconductors to key design engineers
  • Consult with engineers, architects, and other technical professional personnel
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering, electronics, or similar industry discipline
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; ideally with a related semiconductor background and industry work experience
  • Background and knowledge of consumer application and electronics, data center application and electronics, and electronics distribution industry experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of the market challenges and industry business processes and product lines, market segments, and applications
  • Successful experience in customer and team relationships
  • Strong computer proficiency and abilities, especially MS Office Suite (Excel, Pivot Tables) and Salesforce (CLV), Power BI, or similar CRM/ERP systems
