Facilities Management Leader

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Facilities to oversee our organization's facilities, transportation, and technology systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, leadership, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the maintenance, renovation, and safety of all STAR properties, ensuring compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Manage our fleet, ensuring that our vehicles are safe and in compliance with transportation regulations.
  • Oversee technology, security management, and purchasing of hardware needed for business operations.
  • Develop strategic plans for infrastructure and operations, negotiate and manage vendor contracts, and purchase necessary equipment.
  • Develop and maintain emergency and disaster recovery plans.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but experience in place of formal education will be considered.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in facilities management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, construction, and maintenance practices.
  • Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and building codes, as well as fleet management.
  • Experience with facilities management software and technology.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position, 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday, with flexible hours based on the needs and responsibilities of the position.
