Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with department managers to identify, evaluate, and recommend solutions that support business plans.
  • Evaluate new technologies and software, making recommendations for implementation.
  • Lead new development projects and projects requiring heavy user involvement and setup.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of assigned systems and their technical functions.
  • Provide system support for all affiliates, ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Serve as a contact for department and corporation inquiries regarding assigned systems.
  • Maintain a high-level overview of job functions across the corporation to facilitate effective communication.
  • Assess and respond to unexpected software or design errors, ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Work with programmers and management to evaluate, test, and install system changes and releases.
  • Refine project planning skills, including plan development, deadline setting, and post-project evaluation.
  • Support systems provided by Application Service Providers, monitoring changes and updates.
  • Enter monthly statistics and incident reports, generating and distributing reports as required.
  • Complete review and update of policy and procedures relating to assigned systems.
  • Retain records according to guidelines.
  • Review work orders and projects with supervisor, performing only approved system changes.
  • Cross-train across banking systems and business analyst groups to support multiple banking systems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Technology or Business, or equivalent experience.
  • Five to seven years of experience in a related field or banking environment.
  • Familiarity with banking technology solutions, including Online Banking and Mobile Banking.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of assigned systems and their technical functions.
  • Above-average reading, writing, and grammar skills, as well as analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel when necessary.
