Position: Production Assembler

As a Production Assembler, your primary responsibility will be to construct component parts or finalize products in accordance with client specifications. This position necessitates the procurement and management of the appropriate component parts and materials essential for the assembly process.

Compensation Overview:

Salary range between $ $ may be eligible for additional, discretionary incentive compensation based on individual and company performance.

Compensation will be influenced by various factors, including educational qualifications and work experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and organize the workspace for assembly activities.
  • Assemble components following guidelines and quality benchmarks utilizing hand tools.
  • Package, label, and secure finished products in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintain a tidy, safe, and organized workspace, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
  • Perform pre-shift equipment checks and report any malfunctions.
  • Ensure that materials and completed products meet quality standards.
  • Keep precise production records and engage in safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications for Success:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred but not mandatory.
  • No prior experience required; 6 months of manufacturing and assembly experience is preferred.
  • Basic mathematical skills are necessary.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
Physical Demands:
  • Light to moderate physical exertion is required.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 5-15 pounds.
  • Frequent standing and walking is necessary.
  • Repetitive hand use, including simple grasping, controlled grasping, and fine manipulation.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
