Position Title:
Production Assembler
As a Production Assembler, you will play a vital role in the manufacturing process by fabricating component parts or assembling finished goods in accordance with client specifications.
Compensation Overview:
Salary range between $ $ may include additional, discretionary incentive compensation based on individual and company performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and organize the workspace for assembly tasks.
Assemble components following instructions and quality benchmarks using hand tools.
Package, label, and secure completed products as per established procedures.
Maintain a tidy, safe, and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment is functional.
Conduct pre-shift inspections of equipment and report any concerns.
Ensure that materials and finished products meet quality standards.
Keep precise production records and engage in safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications for Success:
High school diploma or GED preferred but not mandatory.
No minimum experience required; 6 months of manufacturing and assembly experience is preferred.
Basic mathematical skills are necessary.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Physical Demands:
Light to moderate physical effort is required.
Must be capable of regularly lifting and/or moving up to 5-15 pounds.
Frequent standing and walking are required.
Repetitive use of hands, including simple grasping, controlled grasping, and fine manipulation.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
