Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement behavior intervention plans to support students with diverse needs.
  • Conduct thorough functional behavior assessments (FBAs) to identify underlying causes of challenging behaviors.
  • Provide training and support to teachers and staff to ensure effective implementation of behavior plans.
  • Collaborate with families and school personnel to ensure a comprehensive approach to student support.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to ensure student goals are aligned with behavior plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of student progress and behavior data.

Qualifications:

  • Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification/ licensure in Maryland.
  • Masters degree in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field.
  • Experience working in a school-based setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and data analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
