About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mental Health Clinician to join our team at PsychoGeriatric Services. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide psychiatric care services to patients in skilled nursing, assisted living, and other long-term care facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site psychiatric assessments and medication management to patients in skilled nursing, assisted living, and other long-term care facilities.
  • Consult, educate, and coordinate care with facility staff, including nursing home administrator, director of nursing, and director of social services.
  • Adhere to established regulations, policies, and procedures while exercising initiative and independent judgment.
Requirements
  • Possession of a state license as a nurse practitioner (required).
  • Specialty as psychiatric nurse practitioner (PMHNP) or adult-gerontology nurse practitioner (AGNP) (preferred).
  • DEA license.
  • Availability to work during normal, weekday business hours (no night or weekend on-call).
  • Ability to stand for 20 minutes.
  • Ability to lift 15 pounds.
