Job Responsibilities- Provide Therapeutic Support: Assist adult clients with mental illness in their daily living activities, medication management, and crisis intervention in a group home setting.
- Supervise and Mentor: Provide direct supervision and guidance to residents in a group home setting, promoting independence and self-sufficiency.
- Maintenance and Upkeep: Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the group home, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for residents.
- Assessments and Planning: Contribute to assessments, conferences, and treatment planning to ensure resident needs are met and goals are achieved.
- Recreational Activities: Organize and supervise recreational and social activities, promoting socialization and community engagement.
- Crisis Intervention: Intervene appropriately to prevent, avert, or manage crisis situations, ensuring resident safety and well-being.
- Documentation and Data Collection: Collect and record data, completing all required documentation to track resident progress and outcomes.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure a safe, therapeutic environment, adhering to all safety standards, Federal and State regulations, and corporate policies.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with four years of work or life experience; or a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license, with two years of experience.
- Licenses and Certifications: Valid driver's license, with a clean driving record.
- Skills and Abilities: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to demonstrate respect for individuals with mental illness and their families.
