Job Overview

Caltrol, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Lifecycle Services Technician to join our dynamic team.

As a full-time Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing both field and workshop services for valves, actuators, and valve instrumentation. Your role will encompass maintenance, repairs, new installations, calibrations, and diagnostics. We are looking for a motivated individual with a strong background in process controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct repairs on valves, actuators, and instrumentation within the Caltrol workshop.
  • Manage shipping and receiving tasks for valves and associated components.
  • Oversee inventory management to ensure efficient operations.
  • Provide local pick-up and delivery services for valves.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the Caltrol workshop and equipment.
  • Engage in field labor as required.

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience as a field service technician or instrumentation technician.
  • Proficient knowledge of valve actuators, including pneumatic and hydraulic types.
  • Experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation, including P&IDs and manuals.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Welding skills are a plus.
  • Must be eligible to obtain a TWIC card.
  • Must maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Travel Requirements:

Willingness to travel up to 40% of the year to various locations for work, including customer sites.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) without restriction.
  • Capability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Frequent physical activities including climbing, kneeling, and reaching.
