Job Overview

Are you a meticulous and experienced mortgage loan processor? We are in search of a dedicated professional to assist applicants through the mortgage lending journey. This role is essential in collaborating with our mortgage loan officers to ensure a seamless process.

Compensation

$15 - $18 hourly

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a liaison among the mortgage underwriting department, loan originators, real estate professionals, and clients to streamline loan approvals.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of the loan process from initiation to final approval within our system.
  • Compile loan packages and submit them to the lender's underwriting team for evaluation.
  • Guide borrowers in selecting the most suitable mortgage options based on their individual circumstances.
  • Assist clients in gathering necessary financial documentation, including credit reports, to assess creditworthiness and complete mortgage applications.
Qualifications
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Knowledge of FHA, FHLB, FNMA, or VA loan products and experience in mortgage lending is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in loan processing is necessary.
  • An Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or business is preferred; however, a high school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Strong analytical abilities, time management skills, and attention to detail are crucial.
