What You'll Do:

As a skilled HVAC Controls Technician, you'll perform system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools. You'll troubleshoot and resolve basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls problems, and provide exceptional customer service to solve building inefficiencies and resolve service-related issues.

How You'll Do It:

  • Load system-level controller software and perform basic commissioning and system diagnostics
  • Keep management and customers informed of job progress and issues
  • Calibrate systems requiring basic electronic test equipment and complete administrative tasks
  • Document changes and provide information for as-built documentation
  • Communicate with customers and follow all safety standards

What We Look For:

Required:

  • 2-4 years of industry experience or 1 year experience in servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems in the HVAC industry
  • Knowledge of HVAC controls systems, facilities management systems, and site preparation
  • Effective interpersonal skills and ability to explain technical information to technical and non-technical people
  • PC experience and ability to program HVAC-related software
