Salary

The estimated salary range for this position is $77,200 - $142,900 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Description

This role involves the design and integration of aircraft mechanical systems, including the development of mechanical architecture and source selection of components for an aircraft platform. Responsibilities include:

  • Design and development of mechanical systems architecture
  • Specification and selection of aircraft mechanical systems components
  • Qualification and certification of mechanical systems components
  • Support to lab testing and verification activities
  • Integration activities, requiring coordination with stakeholders
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and 2-4 years of engineering experience, or a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 2 years of engineering experience. Preferred qualifications include experience with 3D CAD software applications, specification and qualification of aircraft actuation hardware, and familiarity with industry-standard software tools such as Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.
