Job Summary:
Northrop Grumman is seeking a highly skilled Sr Principal Fluid Subsystems Engineer to join our team in Melbourne, Florida. This role involves designing and developing aircraft fluidic subsystems, including Environmental Control Systems (ECS), Liquid Cooling Systems (LCS), Fuel Systems, and Hydraulic Systems.

The Role:
  • Develop, modify, and maintain aircraft subsystem configurations using current engineering design practices and standards.
  • Design tubes/ducts and routing of transport elements related to ECS, LCS, Fuel Systems, and Hydraulic Systems.
  • Perform design-related tasks utilizing the NX and Teamcenter tool suite.
  • Cordinate and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure robust and maintainable configurations are produced.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM discipline from an accredited university and 8 years of engineering experience OR Master's Degree in STEM discipline and 6 years of engineering experience.
  • Prior experience with aircraft subsystems fluidic routing design and integration.
  • Prior experience with 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) software applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience with the design, specification, selection, and qualification of aircraft fluidic system components.
  • Aircraft transport element sizing and architecture development experience.

An estimated salary range of $118,600 - $178,000 per year, based on qualifications and experience.
