OBJECTIVE:
The role of a paralegal within the Surrogates Team involves managing the administrative aspects of estates for individuals impacted by significant events.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Prepare and file various court petitions as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of legal professionals.
  • Support clients in gathering essential information and documentation.
  • Availability to work in the office four (4) days a week is required.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Minimum of one year of experience in surrogate's court.
  • A focus on customer service in handling inquiries.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Capacity to manage and prioritize multiple requests simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 360 applications.
EDUCATION:
A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
COMPENSATION:
Salary range is $65,000-$85,000.
