Acquisition Scheduling SME Opportunity

Diaconia is seeking a highly skilled Acquisition Scheduling SME to contribute to our team's success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Government to define project requirements and develop scheduling strategies.
  • Provide technical advice on scheduling best practices and assist in the development of program execution plans.
  • Apply expertise in scheduling tools, including Microsoft Project and Deltek Open Plan Professional, to support program management offices.
  • Conduct analyses to support decision-making and evaluate program progress.
  • Develop and maintain schedules, using tools such as Microsoft Project and Deltek Open Plan Professional.
  • Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) principles to evaluate and report on program health.
  • Provide training on scheduling tools and best practices to program management offices.
  • Interface with USG organizations to address programmatic inquiries and facilitate effective communication.
  • Develop and integrate risk management strategies into program execution plans.
Requirements
  • Advanced degree (Master's) and 12 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline, with 5 years in the DoD.
  • BA/BS degree and 15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline, with 5 years in the DoD.
  • High school diploma and 20 years of directly related experience, with 8 years in the DoD.
  • Expert-level proficiency in scheduling tools, including Microsoft Project.
  • Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
  • US Citizenship required.
