Field Technician Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Field Technician to join our team at Essel. As a Field Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and operating gas migration control/recovery systems, including gas well monitoring and adjustment, troubleshooting, and system repairs.
The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and technical skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. If you have experience in environmental operations, construction, or solid waste management, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor, and maintain gas collection systems to ensure timely and cost-effective operation and compliance with prescribed parameters.
- Perform routine maintenance activities such as greasing blowers, cleaning tanks, fusing pipe, and repairing pumps.
- Collect and evaluate scientific data, communicating observations and technical findings with supervisors and clients.
- Work independently or as part of a team in a professional, productive, and safe manner.
Requirements:
- No prior experience is required, but related experience is preferred.
- Ability to understand and follow regulatory requirements related to the work.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to read maps and construction plans.
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
- Must meet physical requirements for driving, walking, lifting, and carrying equipment (up to 50 lbs.).
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
