ASCERA serves as a cutting-edge continuous controls monitoring solution that automates evidence collection, ensuring organizations maintain security while adhering to compliance standards such as NIST and CMMC frameworks.
In this position, you will utilize your extensive expertise in Splunk and various SIEM tools, alongside a spectrum of security solutions, to maximize the benefits of ASCERA for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Under the guidance of the technical product manager and fellow product team members, you will master the ASCERA product.
To support your development, you will undergo training on the ASCERA product and participate in several implementations to prepare you for independent operation.
Execute ASCERA Implementations:
Lead intricate implementations of ASCERA, collaborating with clients to address their specific challenges, drawing on the foundation of traditional Splunk PS engagements.
Enhance and Innovate:
Continuously refine the ASCERA product within client environments, proposing enhancements and ensuring the product adapts to the evolving needs of customers.
Client Integration Support:
Aid clients in incorporating new data sources into Splunk, normalizing data, and ensuring accurate data ingestion and parsing for ASCERA.
Compliance Knowledge:
Acquire and apply knowledge of compliance requirements (NIST, CMMC, DFARS, FedRAMP), assisting clients in achieving their compliance objectives through ASCERA implementations.
Knowledge Sharing:
Facilitate knowledge transfer to clients throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring they can effectively maintain and expand their use of ASCERA.
Product Insights:
Provide valuable feedback to the development team, contributing to the refinement and enhancement of ASCERA based on real-world client experiences.
Qualifications:
Possess a Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect Certification.
Minimum of 4 years of experience with Splunk.
Experience with Splunk Enterprise Security.
Experience in developing custom applications and analytics around various data sources.
5-10 years of overall industry experience in technology roles (IT Operations and Security).
Preferred experience with compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, CMMC, FedRAMP, ISO27001) and the ability to provide compliance advisory services.
Ability to deeply understand ASCERA's data structures, operations, and integration points with other systems.
Experience in requirements gathering, documentation, product testing, and resolving complex technical issues.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
