Program Assistant Manager Opportunity at Georgia Legal Services Program Inc

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

About the Role

This 35-hour per week position involves providing administrative support, operating office equipment, and leading various projects and initiatives. The successful candidate will be highly strategic, self-motivated, and passionate about serving low-income communities.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide clerical support to office staff.
  • Operate all office equipment (i.e., printers, copiers, fax machines, telephones, and computer equipment).
  • Assist office manager with various tasks and projects.
  • Lead and coordinate various projects and initiatives.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required for business-related travel.
  • Excellent leadership skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Excellent computer skills and demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly preferred: experience working in a law firm or nonprofit organization.
Compensation and Benefits

The starting salary for this position is $28,500, with the possibility of experience-based credit. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including paid holidays, paid time off, health insurance, and tuition reimbursement up to $2500 per year.
