Global Corporate & Investment Banking - (GCIB)
GCIB North America offers a comprehensive suite of services to our corporate clientele. Our approach supports robust lending relationships across various industries. We provide an extensive range of corporate and investment banking services, including acquisition financing, equity and debt capital markets, syndicated lending, securitizations, asset-based finance, and specialized lending solutions. Our project finance division is internationally recognized, and GCIB excels in managing interest rate and currency risks, working capital solutions, and global treasury management.
GCIB Finance Team Objectives
- Deliver insightful information and analysis to facilitate timely management decisions.
- Consult with the CEO/CFO on growth opportunities and cost-saving strategies.
- Assess and track financial returns to optimize capital and liquidity.
- Analyze financial performance to enhance resource allocation, including capital, liquidity, and expenses.
USWB Vertical Financial Reporting
- Generate and evaluate USWB industry financials to support management's decision-making process.
- Collaborate with senior leaders across various sectors to monitor key business initiatives and performance metrics.
- Act as a liaison for senior management with 4-5 Industry Group heads regarding budgeting, forecasting, and quarterly reviews.
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement improved operational workflows for enhanced transparency and efficiency.
- Create various models and processes to ensure stable, timely, accurate, repeatable, and standardized financial reporting.
- Establish strong relationships with FP&A partners in the U.S. and central FP&A in Tokyo.
- 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience is required.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in Excel modeling and data analysis; experience with Hyperion is preferred.
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a quantitative discipline is preferred.
