Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Nurse to join our team at Baylor College of Medicine. As a key member of our Baylor Population Program, you will provide direct patient care in one of our eight Teen Health Clinic locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced nursing care to patients in a clinical setting, under the direction of a physician.
  • Conduct comprehensive exams, including gynecological services, and provide family planning and sexually transmitted disease screening and treatment.
  • Prescribe appropriate pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments, and maintain accurate records of patient care.
  • Collaborate with providers and practice staff to identify patients for care management, and perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Nursing.
  • Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the State of Texas Board of Nursing.
  • Current Texas Licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APRN-NP), and specialty certification as required by department.
