Job Summary

The Department of Neurology at Baylor College of Medicine seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to join our General Neurology service. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care in a clinical setting under the direction of a physician. Our department is committed to delivering personalized care, training medical students and residents, and conducting research to advance the field of neurology.

Job Responsibilities
  • Obtain detailed patient histories and perform physical examinations.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic procedures as needed.
  • Prescribe appropriate treatments and medications.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and write progress notes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing.
  • Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Texas.
  • Current Texas Licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse (APRN-NP) and specialty certification.
